Combine images into one PDF
A PDF is the right container when several images need to travel together and arrive looking the same on every device — scanned documents, a portfolio, receipts for an expense claim, photographs of a form that has to be emailed as one attachment. This converter builds the file in your browser: the images are assembled into pages and the finished PDF is handed straight back to you.
Fit to image, or a standard page?
Choose fit to image when the PDF will only ever be viewed on a screen — each page takes the exact proportions of its picture, so nothing is padded. Choose A4 or Letter when it may be printed, because a printer expects a standard sheet. Landscape images are rotated onto a landscape page automatically rather than being shrunk to fit a portrait one.
A note on quality
JPEG images are embedded into the PDF exactly as they are, byte for byte, so there is no second round of compression and no quality loss at all. PNG and WebP have to be converted, because the PDF image format used here is JPEG — during that step transparency is flattened onto white, which is normally what you want in a printable document.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to make the PDF?
No. The PDF is assembled in your browser and never leaves your device, which matters when the images are scanned documents or identification.
Can I control the page order?
Yes. Drag the thumbnails into the order you want before creating the file; pages are written in the order shown.
Is there a limit on how many images?
There is no fixed limit, but everything is held in memory, so very large batches of high-resolution photographs may be slow on an older phone. Fifty pages is comfortable on most devices.
